Operational Partners play a key role in disseminating and implementing the Nubian Vault construction program in the field. Acting on a territorial scale, these partners are on the front line in deploying and promoting the NV technique within local communities. They come from a variety of backgrounds and all share a common commitment to appropriate housing in the Sahel.
What's the right profile for an operational partner?
An operational partner can be:

A farmers' organization, a grassroots community organization, a craftsmen's association, or a professional federation that sees the value of promoting the Nubian vault concept in its area of influence.

A regional or national civil society organization, or a national NGO involved in sustainable development and improving living conditions.

An international NGO with sufficient capacity to ensure the development of the NV technique in one or more areas of operation.
Selection criteria
To guarantee the successful duplication of Nubian Vault implementation units, the operating partners must meet certain criteria:

Mobilization in favor of adapted housing : Partners must be motivated to promote sustainable housing adapted to Sahelian conditions, as well as to encourage the development of the construction sector.

Adoption of the AVN method : They must adopt the deployment method proposed by AVN and commit to applying it.

Strong local roots : The partner must have a solid local presence in order to facilitate constructive relationships with local stakeholders.

Ability to mobilize funding: They must be able to raise the necessary funding to implement their construction program.

Commitment to monitoring and evaluation: Partners must commit to contributing to the monitoring and evaluation system set up by AVN and participate in the Sahelian network of Nubian Vault promoters.
Strengthening our network of partners
AVN leads the network of all its operational partners, a collective of committed members working together to promote this sustainable construction technique. The aim is to create a dynamic of exchange and sharing between partners to strengthen their capacities and accelerate the deployment of the Nubian Vault concept in the region.
