Mobilization and transfer to local partners
We rely on a strategy of transferring skills to Operating Partners (OPs) to ensure large-scale dissemination of the Nubian Vault technique in the areas where we operate. This model enables local partners to take ownership of the methodology we have developed and to deploy the NV market independently.
OUR 3 LEVELS OF ACTION
- Mobilization, training, and support for Operator Partners who adopt the methodology developed by AVN and thus replicate the deployment of the Nubian Vault market in their areas of operation ;
- Organization of support functions essential to the implementation of this strategy: training, technical support, monitoring and evaluation, capitalization, coordination of the partner network, advocacy, etc. ;
- Continuing to promote the Nubian Vault concept as an operator in certain territories, in order to consolidate deployment methods and explore new technical and methodological approaches.
Implementation
At the two territorial levels selected (municipalities and, depending on the country, departments/circles/provinces/regions), local organizations (groups, civil society organizations, community-based organizations, etc.) are identified and mobilized. They are AVN's partners and integrate the evolution of the housing issue into their missions and activities. Among these, local organizations take ownership of the various activities of the territorial methodology proposed by AVN. They are trained and supported by AVN in the implementation of activities.
The transfer of skills is facilitated by a gradually enriched and consolidated corpus of training materials.
This methodological transfer makes it possible to multiply the places where the NV market emerges and spreads, ultimately empowering the areas where these Operating Partners are active.
