Training in the VN construction industry
Training is at the heart of AVN's program, enabling the development of a solid, sustainable NV construction industry, integrated into local economies. The aim is to train craftsmen capable of constructing NV buildings, while reinforcing their entrepreneurial skills to ensure their integration into the construction market.
Key actions
Our teams and operational partners implement technical training modules delivered both on construction sites and in academic workshops (dual training) aimed at learners (apprentices, masons, artisan masons). In addition, training modules on construction site definition and entrepreneurship strengthen the capacities of artisan masons andNV contractors to develop their local and national markets.
These training activities are made possible thanks to the involvement and close collaboration of various vocational training stakeholders, mainly masonry trainers, but also vocational training centers and other stakeholders involved in vocational training, with whom pilot projects are designed and implemented.
To ensure the sustainability of the VN market, AVN promotes the structuring, diversification, and formalization of a professional green construction sector and the federation of some of these actors. This approach is supported by the development, updating, and consolidation of a technical corpus accessible to all actors.
Entrepreneurial training
We develop entrepreneurial support mechanisms designed to promote the development of artisan masons' businesses and their economic integration into both informal and formal construction markets.
The context of this activity is complex : the vision of entrepreneurial projects remains difficult in these rural cultures, training needs are significant (numerical calculation, organization and planning, management, marketing, accounting and cash flow, investments and depreciation, etc.), and professional profiles and projects are diverse. Added to this is the reality and value of team work, which must be carefully considered in the entrepreneurial dynamics proposed by AVN.
The challenge is therefore to respond to the real needs of NV masons and craftsmen in as relevant and empirical a manner as possible.
This activity marks an important step towards market consolidation.
Strengthening the marketing efforts of masons aimed at developing their own market dynamics (including promoting the NV concept to find new customers) will gradually limit AVN's awareness-raising activities, allowing it to increase its resources for training.
Training for technical players in the sector
We are also working to extend our training activities to technical stakeholders in the sector (clients, contractors, project managers, architects, building technicians, etc.) in order to encourage project owners to undertake new construction projects and project managers to supervise them.
The Technical Expertise Division is responsible for this training through the production of technical and methodological reference resources (technical corpus) and raising awareness on community construction sites.
