Tony KAYE, AVN Vice-President and member of the Board of Directors, joined AVN as a volunteer after retiring from his post as Senior Lecturer at the British Open University. For five years he was Deputy Director of the Open University’s Centre for International Cooperation, after a two-year secondment to the Ministry of Education in Ivory Coast. He has consulted on distance education and evaluation for UNESCO, the World Bank, the European Commission, the International Telecommunications Union, the British Council, and the Commonwealth of Learning. He has taught post-graduate courses in Sciences d'education at the Universities of Montpellier and Montreal.

James Stewart represents AVN in the USA and Canada. He is working to spread awareness of Nubian vault construction techniques and develop relationships with important funding sources.
