The office is in Pélengana (near Ségou, on the road to Mopti), in the premises of the Centre Culturel Sékou Blén Coulibaly (which was built by NV masons), behind the Mairie.

Ismaïla Diallo, Diector of the Regional program

Ismaïla joined AVN in 2011, and helped with the setting up of AVN-Mali in Segou. A sociologist, he is from the town of Niono, in the Segou region, and previously worked for the NGO Enda Tiers Monde, coordinating an HIV-AIDS reduction program

 Francis Tiéné , Field Director

From Burkina Faso, Francis was the first extension agent to be trained by AVN. He joined AVN-Mali in 2011, helped to set up the centre in Segou, and has contributed significantly to the development of AVN-Mali's promotional strategy with the lessons learned from AVN's program in Burkina Faso.

Moussa Diarra, Regional Coordinator - Dioila

Moussa joined the AVN team in Mali in September 2012, and is responsible for opening a regional base for AVN in his home town of Dioïla.

Souleymane Kone, Extension Agent

Souleymane was the first extension agent to be recruited by AVN-Mali, in 2011. He is from the village of Zambougou, close to Segou.

 

Brehima Diarra, Extension Agent

 

Bréhima joined the team in 2012. He is from Segou, and is responsible for the zone of Bako, opposite Segou, on the other bank of the Niger river.
